Support Beth Johnson's Heart Surgery

My name is Dani Hutton, and I am a coworker and friend of Beth Johnson. On July 17th, tragedy struck for single mom Beth, who has a nine-year-old. A normally healthy mom and para-educator, she suffered from cardiac arrest and had to be airlifted to the hospital. During that time, she had to be revived multiple times. Due to the incident, Beth has not been able to come back to work at St. Croix Falls School as a beloved para.

Since the incident, she is required to wear a defibrillator vest at all times until she gets surgery for a permanent pacemaker to be placed. The medical bills have only begun to start to come in, as have normal life bills. In recent days, Beth was just informed that her health insurance has declined coverage for her wearable defibrillator vest and now also her permanent pacemaker. She now has the added stress of trying to come up with the money for the life-saving devices or choose to go without the surgery!
