I have a friend in need.

You may know her.

She's a friend who was there for me during my time of need.

I'm doing this fundraiser to help with the uncovered expenses of her Cancer journey.

Her story is a series of unexpected and unfortunate events.

In summary, here is the short version:

She was a nurse.

Head of her service.

At the top of her game,

Until she wasn't.

Not because she didn't want to be.

She loved her job.

In spite of multiple surgeries and therapies, the pain and medication routine became too much for her to perform her duties.

She lost her job... her livelihood... her income... and ultimately her marriage.

When finances became too much, she had exhausted her 401K... lost her home and car... and found herself on disability.

With no place to live, she sold most of her possessions and moved to another state to live with and help care for her ailing mother who recently passed away.

Once again, she found herself with no place to live and relocated back to her home state, NC.

After getting reestablished with new doctors, she was sent for a mammogram and is now facing the Breast Cancer Journey.

She has no local friends and lives alone.

My friend is a compassionate soul with a kind heart who would help you if she could. Her treatments will start in July...let's help lift her however you can.
