My name is Paola, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Bete for 7 years. She is truly one of the most giving and cheerful people I know, always helping others and contributing positively to our community.

Today, Bete faces an overwhelming challenge. Her 15-year-old son is battling a serious brain injury following a concussion, and her husband is recovering from a severe car accident. As the primary bread winner, Bete is working tirelessly—spending long hours at hospitals, caring for her family, and trying to manage bill payments—all while carrying the weight of her family’s suffering.
