Support Beta Theta Pi's Suite Renovation
Donation protected
The brothers of Beta Theta Pi are looking to restore our on-campus suite. We are one of the few fraternities at the University of Miami that do not have a frat house; we do, however, have a suite on campus where many brothers do homework, study, eat, and socialize with other members of the fraternity. The suite has become a very important space for many brothers who want to get work done or see their friends in between classes.
Our suite has not had any improvements in the last 6-7 years is located in a building built over 80 years ago. We have to use furniture that has been overtaken by mold and cabinets that have been infested with termites. The suite also has constant problems with mold, leaks, termites, and faulty facilities.
The suite is one of the most important spaces for us to maintain our fraternal bond, especially without an on-campus house. We hope that we can make the suite a good place for us to get work done and strengthen the bond that means so much to each of us.
This is our rough plan outlining some of the improvements that the suite needs.
$5000 - New furniture (tables, couches, chairs, shelving)
$2000 - Lumber (study areas, furniture risers, storage)
$800 - New Technology (tv's, monitors, lightbulbs)
$400 - New speakers/repair speaker system
$500 - Paint
$150 - Whiteboard
$200 - Cleaning supplies (vacuum, mop, etc.)
$500 - Kitchen cabinets
$100 - Bathroom door and lock
