Today, we come before you on behalf of someone very dear to us—Bertha—a woman known for her joy, strength, and kindness toward others. Bertha is a loving mother of four who is currently facing one of the most difficult battles of her life: HER2-positive inflammatory breast cancer.

At just 40 years old, Bertha was diagnosed in August 2025 with inflammatory breast cancer that has metastasized to her axillary lymph nodes. Since then, she has begun chemotherapy treatments and is now awaiting her bilateral surgery, which will be followed by radiation therapy.

As Bertha focuses all her strength on fighting this disease, we want to help relieve some of the financial stress she and her family are facing. This fundraiser is meant to support her with daily living expenses such as rent, food, and household needs, as well as medical costs not fully covered by insurance. Our hope is to allow Bertha to focus on healing and recovery without the added burden of financial worry.
