Bertha has always been a familiar face at USB. I know many of us have seen her in passing, always smiling, always busy, ALWAYS there working hard to help create a clean and welcoming environment for everyone. Bertha spent many years serving our building with dedication and a strong work ethic many admire.

Recently, Bertha unexpectedly lost her job back in May and is now facing a difficult period without a steady source of income. And like all hardworking people, she has bills to pay and necessities to cover. I have been made aware she is is dealing with the stress and anxiety about what comes next.

To those of us who know Bertha, we also know that she has been there for others. Now, I'm hoping to reach out to the community so we can come together to be there for her.
