Our friend, employee, and someone we consider part of our family, Bert Slane, has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Bert and his wife Gina (Haskin) are both unable to work due to medical issues. Gina is an in-home caregiver who has been dealing with back/neck surgery and its complications for 2 years. Both Bert and Gina are from deeply rooted Wood River Valley families. They were raised here and their parents were well-known business owners. Gina's family owned Western Auto in Hailey and Bert is the son of Pink from Pink's Electric. Bert, Gina, and their family have a deep faith in Christ Jesus and they know that God's will shall be done.

The goal of this fundraiser is to stay on top of the mortgage, utilities, medical bills, and health insurance that Bert & Gina are facing now and in the distant future. There will be many trips to the hospital. Travel money (gas & possibly lodging) is also a necessity. Their income is -0- as of now. The love and prayers of our community are needed very much at this time and we would appreciate anything your heart is able to donate to this family.
