Support Berninger Children After Parents' Death

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I am writing to you on behalf of two siblings, Noah and Aaron Berninger, from the Wallenpaupack Area School District. These teens have experienced an unimaginable tragedy as they have lost both of their parents in a very short period of time. The Berninger family, already dealing with the heartbreak of losing their father last year, was recently hit by another tragedy as their mother, Geraldine, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, January 3rd, only 11 months after her husband, Egon died. The heartbreaking loss of their mother has left behind two children who now face a future without their beloved parents.

My name is Jessica Cardone, and I had the honor of befriending them this past summer at our workplace, Gresham’s Chop House. I shortly realized that Noah and Aaron are two of the most caring, kind, thoughtful, and honest kids I have ever met. These children did not just lose one parent; they have lost both, which just breaks my heart. No kid should have to face this type of tragedy. With that being said, I am creating this GoFundMe because the financial pressures they are facing are vast. My goal is to ease the financial strain that comes with such a loss. Faced with the challenge of now having to fully support themselves while simultaneously grieving the loss of their mother and father, Noah and Aaron greatly appreciate all forms of support. The funds raised will be used for such immediate needs as housing, food, clothing, and any other expenses that they may need to cover in the future.
