Support Bernina's Battle Against Rare Cancer

Bernina's co-workers have started this GoFundMe account to support Bernina and her family as she goes through the process of fighting cancer. Bernina has been diagnosed with Carcinoma in the salivary gland with Basaloid features. According to the ENT, this is a very rare form of Carcinoma that has since spread from her salivary gland to the lymph nodes in her neck. Surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy treatments will need to occur. The support of her company, family, and friends means so much to her during this time of need.

Bernina has worked in healthcare since the age of 19 years old. Throughout the years, she has supported and cared for many clients who battled cancer. Bernina wants to say thank you to everyone for allowing her the time and flexibility required to overcome this challenge.

Bernina understands the battle ahead. We want to support some of the stress and responsibility as Bernina makes her journey back to health and continues to care for her two beautiful teenage children. Funds will be used to cover costs of treatment, medical bills, prescription medications, traveling expenses, and daily living, as needed.
