Bernie Feldmann is a retired New York State Trooper who dedicated 28 years of his life to law enforcement and serving his community. During his career, Bernie was at ground zero after 9/11 and has already battled cancer related to his time there. He also served as Regional Coordinator for the NYSP Employee Assistance Program, supporting state troopers and their families during times of distress. Bernie’s commitment to helping others extends beyond his professional life—he serves as a town councilman and is always ready to lend a hand to those in need. He is also deeply involved in his local parish, supporting his church community and parishioners through faith and service.

Recently, Bernie was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. He is in need of alternative treatments and therapies, which are not covered under insurance. These new treatments will be completely out of pocket for Bernie and his family, creating a significant financial burden.
