Our dear friend Bernie recently experienced a life-changing car accident that left her with both arms broken. As a hardworking bartender, Bernie has always been the one to lift our spirits and bring joy to everyone she meets. Now, she’s facing a tough road ahead—unable to work, and struggling to make ends meet while she recovers from her injuries.



Bernie’s situation is especially difficult because her injuries prevent her from doing even the simplest daily tasks, let alone returning to her job. She has at least months of recovery ahead, and the financial strain of rent, groceries, and mounting medical bills is overwhelming. She’s always been the first to offer a helping hand or a listening ear, and now she needs our support more than ever.
