Support Bernetta's Cancer Battle and Healing from Loss

I created this GoFundMe page with the hope that people with kind, caring hearts will help my friend, Bernetta Green, in this time of her extreme need.

On Jan. 5, 2019, Bernetta was involved in horrible vehicle accidents on I-95 near Baltimore. Not only was her vehicle struck once in a first collision, but before she could remove herself from the vehicle, it was struck a second time by a tractor-trailer just seconds later.

Bernetta endured multiple surgeries to address serious injuries in her back, while she continues to address traumatic brain injuries through therapy. After receiving a settlement to compensate for her injuries, she was deceived out of several thousand dollars from people that she thought she could trust. The unreturned "loan" has financially devastated her because her caring heart has been injured on top of everything that has happened to her body.

In April 2023, Bernetta was diagnosed with a stage four cancer, for which she received chemotherapy that left her with burns. In March 2025, Bernetta was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is recovering from a left breast mastectomy performed last week. Bernetta is in the throes of physical, emotional, and mental traumas. We have a mighty God that we pray to, and He is all our help. But we also know that God will move His children to help others in need.
