An extremely kind person named Bernan Redovan needs our help.

Bernan has made the world a better place since the day he was born. He recently had a sudden diagnosis of stage 4 Renal cell Carcinoma. It is extremely aggressive. The cancer is metastatic and has spread through his body. Currently his Kidney, Lungs and lymph nodes are impacted. He is still going through further testing, and we pray that it has not impacted on any other areas.

Bernan has had a loving wife Monica for the past 30 years. His daughter Angelica is now a teacher, and his son Erin is a basketball coach. This health issue came out of nowhere and his family is devastated. They are extremely kind people and will not ask for help. That is why we need to jump in and do the right thing.

The last few weeks have already had extreme challenges with medical care. He has been into the ER, had difficulties with treatments. He also had a tube installed into his lung as the cancer has caused fluid to gather and shrink his sick lungs. He has an extremely long road ahead. Joint pain, fatigue, nausea are just the start. The last thing that heeds to worry about right now is how to afford necessities like food and care.

Bernan has been an inspirational leader at The Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook Illinois since 1991. He exemplifies the core values of the company he works for, Davidson Hospitality. As the Executive Housekeeper, he serves with love, has his teams back and always does the right thing.

Anyone who has met Bernan Redovan, knows that he is the kind of person who lights up a room with his smile and kindness. Every single day, Bernan exuded friendliness, compassion, and positivity — traits that touched everyone around him. His laughter, warmth, and tireless work ethic makes everyone have a better day.
