We are a group of friends (Sandra, Charlene, Gerarda, Andrew) who are raising funds to help our dear, beautiful friend Bernadette, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Until a week ago, Bernie was still working so she could have medical insurance to cover her treatment, but she's become too sick, and she was told she can no longer work. Now, she has no insurance or the means to pay for her medical treatment.

We have known Bernie for a long time and can say without a doubt that she's such a beautiful, caring person who would do anything for anyone. If you knew her, you would love her.

Cancer is devastating for anyone, and stage 4 cancer is the worst news anyone and their families can ever get. Bernadette has fought this cancer like a true warrior, never letting it get to her spirit. She needs our help to continue to fight and get the care she needs to make this suffering more bearable.
