Berklie Ollis is a sweet, silly 3 year old who was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called Schwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS) at a very young age. Berklie's health journey has been complicated his whole life. At this time the Ollis family is preparing to support Berklie through a bone marrow transplant. Berklie's care team is taking this step in an effort to prevent him from developing a form of Leukemia that would be especially complicated to treat due to his SDS. This process will include chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant over a 6-8 week hospital stay. Berklie’s post transplant care will remain complex for up to a full year. Your financial support will help Berklie's Dad Eddie be home as much as possible during this time, in order to support Berklie and prioritize parental self care, for the sake of Berklie’s healing process.
