We are a multinational team of clinicians, researchers and implementers at Neotree. We have been working with our Zimbabwean partners to improve the quality of care for women and babies in hospitals in Zimbabwe since 2019.

We are raising funds in a private capacity to renovate and repurpose an existing hospital ward into a dedicated bereavement suite and transition ward.

Our goal is to create a safe and private space, so that bereaved mothers and families have the time and space to say goodbye in their own way, away from the busy public wards and importantly, away from families celebrating the birth of healthy children. They will be supported by trained midwives and other families with lived experience.

Your donation, however small, will make a huge difference.

We will use the funds to renovate and paint the ward, fix the electrics, restore a water connection, purchase hospital beds and bassinets, and source memory-making materials. This will complement existing funding from our generous donors which will be used to train midwives and families with lived experience to provide bereavement support and care.

Thank you so much for your support!
