Hi everyone,

As we approach Valentina and Sofia’s first heavenly birthday in a few months, we want to honor their memory in a special way by giving back to other bereaved families.

The cooling cots at the hospital where our daughters were born allowed us to spend precious moments with our sleeping babies. Although, we wished so badly to be able to take our girls home with us, these cots provided irreplaceable moments to hold them, create memories, and say goodbye. These cots gave us the gift of some extended time, and for their birthday, we’d like to extend that gift to other grieving parents.

We’ve partnered with A Foundation for Itty Bitties to donate two cooling cots in Valentina and Sofia’s name. Each cot costs $2,700, and whatever we raise will be matched by the foundation, doubling the impact. Our goal is to provide 2 cots to the hospital. One will be fully donated by my husband and I, and we are looking to raise money for the second cot. These cots will provide other families the opportunity to bond with their sleeping angels, easing the pain of loss by creating memories within the short time they have together in the hospital.

Since we can’t give gifts to our girls, we want to give this gift of love and time to other families in their honor. Help us honor Valentina and Sofia’s legacy.
