Support Bently's Journey to a Normal Life

My name is Savana and I have an amazing stepson who deserves to get the surgeries he needs so he can lead a normal life. If you've ever met Bently, then you've noticed he walks on his tippy toes. This is due to his Achilles tendon being too tight and because of that, he has to miss out on normal childhood activities like going skating or riding a bike. Walking long distances causes him a lot of pain and sometimes it's hard to get around.

On July 31st of this year, he had his first surgery to try and correct the issue. On both legs, they cut the back of his ankles open and made small cuts down his tendon so that as it heals, it will stretch it out to hopefully make him be able to walk normally. Unfortunately, though, we have to return to Boise for another surgery on August 7th. Bently's doctor, however, is worried that Bently could have a condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth which is a progressive nerve disease. So while we're there for surgery #2, the doctor wants us to get a genetics test done.

Unfortunately, we are running out of options and have to put our pride aside and ask for help. With Bently being in double casts and wheelchair-bound, I am unable to work so I can be home to take care of him. Jesse is working as much as he can but only getting a couple of days of work in a week, we're going to go under fast. The trips to Boise with food, gas, and hotels plus everyday bills, we just can't make it right now and have to ask for help. If you can't donate, please share.
