Support Bentley’s Treatment for Treacher Collins Syndrome
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Karlie’s journey into motherhood, which has taken a challenging turn with the birth of her precious son, Bentley James, on October 20, 2024. Unfortunately, there were no indications during her pregnancy that Bentley would be born with Treacher Collins syndrome (TCS), a rare genetic disorder impacting the growth of the skull and facial bones. This condition can lead to significant challenges, including facial differences and hearing loss.
Bentley is currently receiving critical care at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he is undergoing necessary testing to create a tailored treatment plan for his unique needs. At this time, he remains on a ventilator as his airway is not yet fully functioning.
As a single mother, Karlie is facing the daunting reality of numerous surgeries and a long recovery journey ahead. The financial strain from medical bills is already overwhelming, and any support you can offer to help this beautiful family during this incredibly difficult time would mean the world to them. If you are able, please consider donating here to assist in providing Bentley with the care he urgently needs. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
