Hello friends and family, as a few of you may already know, my brother Ben suffered a stroke early Friday morning on February 21st. This unexpected medical emergency has left him with significant challenges, including the loss of mobility on his right side. As I write this, my brother is still in the hospital under observation as he receives care, as our family takes turn being by his side; and the weight of uncertainty of his situation feels unbearable.

We are a close family, and Ben has always been an incredible uncle to our daughters and a loving son and brother. His fierce independence has always been a source of pride for him, and this situation is not only a physical challenge for him but also an emotional one for all of us. I never thought I would find myself at the mercy of my community, but now I find myself in a place of need. The road to recovery will require extensive rehabilitation, and unfortunately, it’s unlikely that he will be able to return to work for some time.

During this difficult period, we are reaching out to our loved ones for support. We are asking for financial assistance to help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses as Ben adjusts to this new reality.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will be immensely appreciated and will go directly towards helping Ben regain his independence and improve his quality of life.
