Support Ben's Journey to Health

Ben is a very special little guy! He's feisty, playful, and loves to snuggle! He is unfortunately sick, and we don't know with what. At first, we thought hydrocephalus or a liver shunt. He saw a neurologist today (3/2/25), and they do not believe he has hydrocephalus. A liver shunt can't be ruled out yet as he is too small for blood work.

His biggest issue is every time he eats, everything comes out his nose. He is at high risk for aspiration pneumonia. He does not have a cleft palate. The only thing that can be done for him right now is a CT scan. He may need additional medical intervention later in life, but for now, if I can get him to the point where he can eat normally and grow, I can potentially do more diagnostics later.

I am off work after having a major surgery on my foot and cannot currently afford the CT for him. I love him dearly and want to do everything I can for him. He is 5 weeks old and only 11.6 oz. Please help in any way you can!
