Support Benjamin's Battle Against Leukemia

Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit to ask for your support for my sister, Robyn, and brother-in-law Alex. Their son, Benjamin, has recently been diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. At just 5 years old, Ben is facing a challenging journey, and their family is committed to providing him with the best care possible.

Since the beginning of summer, Ben has been battling with fevers and Illnesses back to back.

On August 5th, Ben went to the ER with another fever. After many scans and testing, Benjamin was diagnosed with leukemia. They immediately transferred him to a hospital with an oncology department and began running more tests and started a treatment plan. Tonight he will start his first round a chemotherapy.

Despite his young age, Ben has shown incredible bravery. The road to recovery will be long and costly, involving numerous hospital stays, chemotherapy sessions, and various medical expenses. Additionally, Robyn and Alex will need to be by his side throughout his chemo treatments, which means they will be unable to work for that time. As well as Ben, Robyn and Alex have a 4 year old daughter and are expecting another baby in February. We want them to be able to focus on the health of their family, and not have the burden of finances during this difficult time.

We have set up this GoFundMe to assist with the significant medical costs and other expenses related to Ben's treatment. All donations will go directly to the Carrejo family.
