Ben's Backdraft BBQ has become an icon in Western North Carolina.

Ben Hooper and his family prepare barbecue for everyone from hospitals to weddings. Ben is a firefighter who discovered his love of smoking BBQ a couple of years ago.

Sadly, he lost his number one BBQ trailer in a fire.
