Hi, my name is Lorie.

I'm creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of my nephew Ben Williams.

Ben 18, is a familiar face in Whittlesea from playing for & being a part of the local Eagles Footy Club, attending both the primary & high schools, to now doing his mechanics apprenticeship at Spanners.

On Sunday, June 1st, Ben was out doing what he loves - riding his motorbike when the unthinkable happened.

His fun day quickly turned into the worst day of his life after coming off his bike.

After being rushed to the hospital and with his parents by his side, he learnt the extent of his injuries.

With fractures to his spine and pelvis, a huge amount of internal bruising, and in constant pain. Ben has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

This includes surgery and being unable to walk for months, and a lot of physiotherapy.

Anyone who knows Ben knows he rarely sits still and is always on the go with that infectious smile, so right now and the months to come are going to be the hardest months of his life.
