Support Benny's Recovery and New Beginning

Hey friends! My name is Chelsie and I'm speaking on behalf of Benny. Benny was in a serious accident on September 7th. He fell from his 3rd story balcony and is in recovery/physical therapy. After 6 weeks in the hospital relearning to walk and function as his regular self, he's going home!! YAY!

Although it's exciting that he's coming home, his injuries were extensive. Benny suffered multiple spinal cord fractures, neck injury, a sternal dislocation, and a brain hemorrhage. As you can imagine, this has affected every aspect of his life including his ability to work and support himself for the time being. With this and medical bills, we turn to our community for support.

All donations will be going to help Benny navigate his new disabilities. This includes making his home more accessible to get back some sense of normalcy. As we know living in the city is expensive so the money will also be helping with rent, groceries and other bills while Benny is recovering and unable to work. In addition to this, his mom has been supporting him and had to take a leave from work so not only will it go to helping him but also his family.

Any donation helps, no matter how small. Benny is grateful for his community and the love that has surrounded him through this traumatic time.
