Support Benji’s Surgery and Recovery Journey

This is Benji the corgi! He will be 8 years old on April 9, 2025. Benji loves to go on walks with his friends, loves to wait next to you while you are eating hoping a piece of food falls, and enjoys barking at nothing. Benji also knows English and Spanish! He was recently diagnosed with carcinoma cancer which is an aggressive tumor that can lead to the destruction of bone structures. Benji has a cancer mass on the side of his neck, meaning he is suffering from chronic, aching pain and can barely open his mouth to eat. Benji recently got a CT scan to help vets best evaluate for surgical planning and the possible spread to lymph nodes or other locations (including the lung and other sensitive organs). His CT scan revealed that the epithelial cells are fairly uniform/well-differentiated and no infectious agents were observed. The best treatment options for his current mass is surgery and/or possible radiation or chemotherapy. Benji currently lives in Driggs, Idaho and his frequent visits to see a specialist are only available in Boise, Idaho (about a 6 hour drive). We have already spent about $5,500 of our own money on vet visits, driving back and forth from Boise, and his most recent CT scan, but we are asking for financial support for Benji’s surgery to remove the cancer mass, additional travel expenses, and any other post surgery/treatments he might need. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for helping us save our best friend!
