Hi, I am Liv, and I am writing on behalf of my very dear friend, Benjie. Many of you know him, but not everyone is aware of the struggles he has been facing. Benjie has been battling severe stomach issues for a few years, but recently things have taken a turn for the worse. His body is no longer processing the food he eats, and he has been in and out of the hospital with little relief. Over the past four months, Benjie has lost 45 pounds. He is too weak to work and has not been able to spend time with his six children, which breaks his heart.

I am truly worried about Benjie's health and what the future holds for him. He is behind on bills and child support because he simply cannot work in his current condition. Even walking around makes him dizzy and at risk of passing out. Benjie is not the type to ask for help—his pride would never allow it—but I cannot stand by and watch him go without the support he needs.

We are finally at the hospital, hoping he will get the care he deserves, but the road to recovery will be long. I am asking, from the bottom of my heart, if you can help in any way.
