Support Benjamin’s Recovery After Amputation

Benjamin is the heart of our family—a hardworking, caring, and thoughtful person who has always put others first. In 2008, he suffered a serious fall from a telephone pole that caused lasting damage to his feet. Over the years, his diabetes made things even more complicated, and this past July, an abscess in his left foot ruptured, leading to a severe infection. Despite wound care and medical attention, complications quickly escalated. Just last week, a routine procedure triggered another infection, and Benjamin’s health took a sudden turn for the worse. He developed a high fever, his leg and foot became dangerously swollen, and he was rushed to the hospital. Now, he faces the reality of a double amputation, with the possibility of losing even more of his toes as doctors work to control the infection.

This has turned our world upside down. Benjamin has been unable to work since July, and we’re facing months—if not longer—without his income. The medical bills are mounting, and daily living costs are becoming overwhelming. We’re doing everything we can to keep up, but we’re at the point where we need help to make sure we don’t lose our transportation or have our lights turned off. It’s not easy for us to ask for support, but we know that every bit of help will make a real difference as we navigate this incredibly difficult time.

We’re grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story. Thank you for helping us keep hope alive for Benjamin and our family as we face the challenges ahead.
