Support Benjamin's New Nursery After Damage From Eaton Fire

Donation protected

Hey everyone. My name is Daniel Villegas and my wife and son are Tania and Benjamin Villegas. On Jan 7th, 2025, we were displaced from our home in the Pasadena/Altadena area as a result of the Eaton Fire. Although we did not lose our home, the fire did get really close. It ended up jumping over our street and burning homes both in front and behind our home. We sustained heavy smoke damage on the interior of the house, with inspectors deeming it unlivable due to the toxic ash, soot, heavy smoke scent, and general smoke damage. We were instructed to get rid of anything and everything our son Benjamin might get in contact with.

We consider ourselves one of the lucky families because we had somewhere to go during and after the fires. We have been staying at my parents' house as the entire recovery process unveiled. This has been a slow process as every step or action needing to happen has been delayed.

We recently have found a new place to move into. We would like to ask you, our friends and family, for a little help getting Benjamin’s nursery back up and running. We literally had to throw out everything that belonged to him. It was really difficult having to say goodbye to a lot of items that were Benji’s firsts. We would appreciate any help as we rebuild our lives and our home.

Funds will specifically be used to purchase replacement items such as a bed, blankets, bedsheets, furniture, toys, books, clothes, high chair, kitchenware, and outdoor toys.

Thank you.
