Help Beni Afford Top Surgery (and Maybe a Pastry After)
Goal: $3,200
Hi, I’m Beni.
I’m transmasc, chronically chill, and currently wearing the same beanie in 80% of my photos.
I’m raising $3,200 to help cover my top surgery — because even though gender is a construct, dysphoria still charges rent.
Right now, I work part-time, make zines no one buys, and spend too much time at coffee shops pretending to write my memoir (spoiler: it’s just one Google Doc titled “ugh”).
Where the money goes:
Surgeon consultation & deposit
Post-op supplies (compression gear, pillows, vibes)
Uber rides to/from surgery because biking home after top surgery is not the trans hero’s journey I’m trying to live
Probably a celebratory cinnamon roll I’ll cry into
If you’ve ever:
Felt like your body didn’t get the group chat memo
Avoided mirrors because they’re rude
Or layered 3 shirts just to feel “meh” instead of “please no”
Then you get it.
Help me align the outside with the inside — or at least make summer slightly less unbearable.
Thanks for reading. And if you can’t donate, sharing helps too.
I appreciate you — like, emotionally, not just algorithmically.
