I am reaching out to my friends and family during a challenging time in my life. Recently, I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. This news has turned my world upside down, not just emotionally. But financially as well. I have already begun my treatment plan, which includes six weeks of radiation & chemo pills, chemotherapy infusions, and most likely surgery. While my insurance covers some of the costs, there are many expenses that aren't fully covered. Such as medications, out-of-town travel expenses to and from hospitals, and my part of medical expenses.
