Support Ben Stephens' Long Road to Recovery

Hello! This is Laura Wilson Beasley. Our friend Ben Stephens (VHS Class of 1978) has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and has recently suffered a fall at home in Leesburg, FL, where he lay incapacitated for three days before being discovered.

After two weeks in intensive care, he has been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital in Tallahassee. This distance poses a hardship on his children to be able to visit due to the expense. Ben could be in recovery for months and needs to have that family connection. These donations will enable his children to visit and cover any unforeseen expenses that come with a lengthy hospital stay. It will also help with travel from facility to facility not covered by insurance.

It will also assist Ben with expenses when he moves from his home to an assisted living facility.
