On Christmas Eve, our dear friends Ben and Steff experienced an electrical house fire that resulted in the total loss of their home. Heartbreakingly, they also lost their two beloved dogs in the fire. While we are grateful that Ben, Steff, and their children Oscar (10) and Rosie (7) are safe, they are now facing the overwhelming reality of having to replace everything.

As you can imagine, there are countless immediate and unexpected needs in the days and weeks ahead — clothing, essentials, temporary housing, kids’ necessities, and the beginning stages of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Insurance processes take time, and grief does not wait. We are starting this GoFundMe to help give them breathing room, stability, and support as they navigate the next steps after this unimaginable loss.

Ben and Steff did not ask for this — they are the first people to give, help and show up for others, and now it’s our turn to support them.
