Support for Ben Skipworth and Family

We are reaching out to ask for support for Ben Skipworth and his family as they navigate his ongoing cancer treatment.

Funds are being raised to help cover medical expenses, travel costs for hospital visits and chemotherapy sessions, and to provide household and family support for his wife, Michelle, and their three children.

About Ben and His Family

For more than 20 years, Ben Skipworth has poured his heart into the community—helping gymnasts across the Plateau grow in skill, confidence, and character. His calm leadership, encouragement, and integrity have left a lasting mark on hundreds of gymnasts and families who’ve been shaped by his example—both in the gym and in life.

Earlier this year, Ben was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer. After completing six and a half weeks of radiation and oral chemotherapy, he is now beginning an intensive round of IV chemotherapy through a port. Throughout this journey, Ben continues to work hard running his small business, Plateau Power Washing, while doing his best to stay strong and provide for his family.

Ben has given countless hours—and often his own money and supplies—to support the gymnasts he’s coached, always going above and beyond to help them succeed both in and out of the gym. He’s poured himself into building others up without ever seeking recognition. Ben and Michelle have also been the ones quietly serving their community—volunteering through their church and homeschool co-op, supporting fellow gym families, and lending a helping hand whenever it was needed. Now, it’s our turn to rally around them.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Ongoing medical bills and treatment costs not covered by insurance

• Travel expenses for hospital visits and chemotherapy sessions

• Future surgeries related to Ben’s cancer treatment and recovery

• Support for their family during Ben’s treatment and recovery period

• Household needs while Ben is unable to work full time
