As a community of friends and family we are coming together to reach out and share a deeply moving story about Benji the Brave, lovingly known as Sonic Benji or Benjamin Bernard.

 Benji is a spirited and courageous little boy who has just turned 5. He embodies the zest for life that we all aspire to, with Sonic as his beloved hero, inspiring every choice he makes—everything Sonic and everything blue!

 However, the Bernards have recently been faced with unimaginable news: Benji has been diagnosed with cancer. This diagnosis has shattered their world, and as Mike, Amanda, and Theo grapple with this new reality, we are reaching out to family, friends, and even strangers to offer them our unwavering support. The hope is to uplift their spirits and allow them to focus on what truly matters most: being there for each other.

 Theo, Benji’s little brother, is undoubtedly feeling the weight of the journey ahead. Ben is Theo’s world. Mike, Ben’s dad, has had to pause his work, which has eliminated the family’s income, and Amanda, Ben’s mom, has had to put her further education on hold. Tragically, neither of them has access to paid leave support or benefits during this incredibly challenging time.

 We are humbly asking for your compassionate help to ease the financial burden on this family. Any support, no matter how big or small, will enable them to concentrate on what is most important: being there for Benji and supporting one another.
