Support Ben and Lanie's Adoption Journey

Hi! We are Ben and Lanie Jameson and, as many of you know, we welcomed baby Luke Lee Jameson into the world on August 13, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We started this adoption journey in February of 2023. Shortly after our home study was complete, we started working with Christian Adoption Consultants. They use a multi-agency approach allowing you to work with several adoption agencies across the US at the same time. This is how we connected with A Guardian Angel in Salt Lake City, Utah. They provide birth mothers with safe housing, food, doctor’s visits, counseling, and much more. They also provide 24-hour support to adoptive families. We truly felt like we were in the best hands with our social worker from A Guardian Angel - she handled every single detail so that we could focus on loving our new baby. The care and resources they provide are just a few of the many reasons we decided to work with the agency that eventually placed us with baby Luke.

We are so thankful for the vital role the agency played in connecting us with our son. We could never put a price on this. Even with that in mind, domestic infant adoptions can range from $35,000 to $70,000+. Along with these agency fees, we have paid legal fees, medical fees, and travel expenses. While we have the means to financially support and care for Luke now that he’s home, the reality is that there was a substantial amount of money needed up front. It’s been a whirlwind as we were matched on August 1st and he was born on August 13th.
