Ben Montgomery has been a familiar face in our Phoenix neighborhood for decades, running his local lawncare service with dedication and kindness. He’s always been there to lend a hand, whether it’s keeping our yards beautiful or offering a friendly wave as he passes by. Recently, Ben faced an unimaginable ordeal while working in someone’s backyard. He was suddenly attacked by a swarm of bees, and the situation became so severe that firefighters had to be called. Despite their efforts to remove the bees with a fire hose, the swarm persisted, and a firefighter ultimately had to carry Ben to safety.

As a result of this terrifying incident, Ben spent five very long and expensive days in the hospital. For someone who already has very little, this unexpected medical emergency has left him with a significant amount of debt that will be difficult to overcome on his own. The donations from this fundraiser will go directly to Ben, helping him begin to pay down these overwhelming bills and get back on his feet.
