Our Beloved Brother Samuel J has a complicated bone growth in his right ear, (an advanced exostosis) which for now has taken away the hearing on that side. He has been coping with the usual exostosis for some time but a recent Surfing experience has led to the complete blockage in the ear.
He requires a very special kind of surgery as soon as possible, to clear the blockage and reduce risk of the threat of internal pressure on the brain.
For all of you that know Samuel know that Samuel gives so much with his Music, Youth Work and Ocean Conservation both at home and around the world.
His hearing is an essential part of his art and contributions that he makes happen so tirelessly for the greater good of this planet.
Samuel is at a pinnacle moment in his career recently beginning one of the greatest opportunities with his which he has worked so hard to create.
In true Sam fashion he is still staying so positive and keeping it all going but its an incredibly hard task through all the pain and inhibitence.
Just this year Samuel has independently been supporting the protection of endangered species in Hawaii, Asia and the US, supporting education initiatives with underprivileged children in Colombia and Indonesia (where he was made an Ambassador of Peace for the country),
His independent album Into The light has touched the hearts of 100s of thousands of people and he is currently working at the forefront of marine conservation through his events and expeditions with some of the worlds leading conservation foundations such as Blue Sphere & Sea Legacy …
His hearing is paramount for him to be able to continue this work to his full ability.
This brother has touched my life and I know the life of many others in such a deeply meaningful and inspiring way.
I see him as a true warrior of our time and right now he is wounded and needs the support of his tribe.
Due to his critical need of his hearing he is having to do a procedure with the least amount of risk to the ear drum and as soon as possible.
Thank you for supporting this beautiful man with whatever you can, as he always says Together We Rise.
I feel it will come back ten fold for all of us ……
