Support Belle Passi's Statue Repair

This fundraising campaign seeks to restore the historic Civil War memorial statue that has stood vigil over our pioneer cemetery for more than a century. In 2020, a large tree branch, brought down by freezing rain, damaged the soldier's head and hand. The statue, made of zinc a popular material at the time for its lightness and affordability was removed in 2023 with plans to repair it. However, finding a professional skilled in zinc restoration proved challenging. Recently, we've located a studio capable of performing the necessary work! The cost to repair and remount the statue is estimated at $10,000.

We invite the community to help us bring our soldier back to his rightful place, so he can continue his watch over the cemetery. Join us in this effort.
