Hi everyone,
I’m asking for help for my dog, Bella.
On Easter, Bella became critically ill. Her neck suddenly swelled to the size of a cantaloupe from fluid buildup, and she had gone three days without eating.
We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they had to create a hole under her jaw to drain the infection. That emergency visit alone cost $2,000, covering chest X-rays, bloodwork, cultures, and treatment.
Thankfully, all of her testing came back good, and Bella is still active, alert, and full of life.
The vets determined the infection is coming from a tooth that needs to be extracted as soon as possible. Right now, antibiotics are keeping the infection under control, but the doctor warned that once the antibiotics wear off, the infection will come back unless the tooth is removed.
Bella’s dental surgery will cost approximately $3,500, and after already paying for her emergency care, I simply can’t cover it alone.
Bella still has so much life in her. She is still playful, active, and wants to be here. I’m doing everything I can because I don’t want finances to be the reason I lose her.
If you’re able to donate, any amount helps bring Bella closer to the surgery she urgently needs. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much.
Thank you for helping give Bella the chance she deserves.
