Hello, my name is Karina, and this is my beloved companion Bella.

Bella was recently diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia and megaesophagus, a serious condition where the esophagus (the tube that carries food from the throat to the stomach) loses its ability to move food properly. Because of this, she now has to eat sitting upright for the rest of her life to prevent food and water from entering her lungs.

Bella is currently under 24-hour veterinary care, and her condition has been heartbreaking for us to witness. She’s been so strong, and we’re hoping to take her home soon. Her vet bills have already reached over $8,000, and we are doing everything we can to give her the chance she deserves.
