Hi, my name is Bella Doench. In September of 2024, I was told I had Stage 3 uterine and ovarian cancer. The tumors were all very large, so I did a heavy round of chemo to shrink them and ensure the surgery would go smoothly. As of January 2026, I was 1 year cancer-free. A lot of death and tragedy came to me in January. So, I had my one-year scan in February. It was not the best day. They found multiple tumors in my breasts. Throughout the next few weeks of tests and Dr. appointments, I found out my cancer is back and I have to have a double mastectomy. I am strong; I got this! But my checkbook doesn't. My surgeon is out of network, so I will be paying 20% of that bill. I will be out of work for a while, both as a seamstress and with Paparazzi Jewelry, which is what keeps our family going.
