Support Bella Kelly's Fight For Her Life
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Eric Mitchell. I'm a self-employed audio engineer and run an audio hardware and software company, Kaptive Audio. The music and audio community is large, but feels small when you're in it; sort of like a big family. Well, sadly I'm here today making this because 2 of our family members needs some support. I'm speaking in regards to musical artist Bella Kelly.
Bella is currently in the hospital on life support, barely holding on, but the insurance companies are intervening and literally putting her life at risk. I will let her fiancé David Gnozzi (Audio Engineer, MixBusTV) explain: Please click here to watch David's Video
I can feel the weight of that through the screen. Now, I know that David said this is not about money and he asked for help from us via spreading the word about what healthcare in the USA is doing to people, right now. So I started this campaign of my own accord on their behalf for 2 reasons: 1- I know he said this isn't about money, but that doesn't change the fact that if you're going to pay cash for healthcare in this country, it will quickly lead to mortgaging your house level hardship or worse. No one should suddenly feel that level of weight and burden on top of the pain, fear, sorrow and agony of the experience itself because of a broken healthcare system. There's no way these funds won't be helpful for them. And 2- If they wanted to, they could instead use these funds to promote and share their story to try and make an impact, as this was his request in regards to help from us. Perhaps even fund legal fees if they decided to go after the insurance company and hit them where it counts; in their wallet.
So I do not see a fault to us all banding together to support Bella & David in a time where they need it most and what's being done to them is criminal. Because they are unaware this campaign is being created, I will liaison and transfer the funds directly to them when it finishes. I've set it at $15k to start, but it says it will scale that up if we meet it.
In his video, he also said they told him he couldn't pay cash and that he didn't know if it was true, so I looked that up and it's not:
I know it seems and feels like the majority of us are financially struggling in this current economy; I can barely even donate to this myself, which is why I wanted to try and do something to make a positive difference for them. With these sort of things, I know it's about strength in numbers and I believe in the power of our community. Even if you're not a part of the audio engineering and music community, simply imagine if this was your fiancé...
Please also help by sharing the campaign on socials, audio groups and forums, etc. Thank you for your time and any effort you can put forth to help the situation, even if it's only sharing David's video at a minimum.
