Hello, my name is Belkis, and today I come to you with a broken heart to ask for your support and solidarity at a very difficult time for my family.

Unfortunately, on Tuesday, January 6, ICE agents took my son away, even though he has legal status. My son was simply filling up his car with gas in Saint Paul when he was detained by agents. I never imagined that something like this could happen to him, or that our family would experience such a great injustice.

Since that day, my life has changed completely. My heart is broken, I miss my son deeply, and I live in constant fear for his well-being. As a mother, there is no greater pain than being separated from your child without knowing what tomorrow will bring.

Today, I am turning to the community for help. We need to raise funds to cover legal costs and receive family support during this difficult process. Any contribution, support, or word of encouragement means a lot to us.

Hola, mi nombre es Belkis, y hoy me acerco a ustedes con el corazón roto para pedir su apoyo y solidaridad en un momento muy difícil para mi familia.

Lamentablemente, el martes 6 de enero, agentes de ICE se llevaron a mi hijo, a pesar de que él cuenta con estatus legal. Mi hijo se encontraba simplemente poniendo gasolina en Saint Paul cuando fue detenido por los agentes. Nunca imaginé que algo así podría sucederle, ni que nuestra familia viviría una injusticia tan grande.

Desde ese día, mi vida cambió por completo. Mi corazón está destrozado, extraño profundamente a mi hijo y vivo con un temor constante por su bienestar. Como madre, no hay dolor más grande que estar separada de tu hijo sin saber qué pasará mañana.

Hoy recurro a la comunidad para pedir ayuda. Necesitamos recaudar fondos para cubrir los costos legales, así como para recibir apoyo familiar durante este proceso tan duro. Cualquier aporte, apoyo o palabra de aliento significa mucho para nosotros.
