Balinda is a remarkable woman who has faced more than her share of challenges. After losing a child and undergoing a kidney transplant, she is now bravely fighting stage III colon cancer. Recently, Balinda began chemotherapy, and the toll it has taken on her and her husband has been immense. With countless doctor’s appointments, overwhelming paperwork, and the emotional weight of her diagnosis, daily life has become a constant struggle. Her husband, one of my closest friends, is doing everything he can as the sole provider, but the mounting medical bills, copays, and everyday expenses are more than they can handle alone.
