Support Belinda to study a Masters in Infectious disease and One Health.
Hello!
My name is Belinda Akoth Omino, a young scientist with a background in Microbiology and Biotechnology. I am thrilled to share that I have been accepted into the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree in Infectious Diseases and One Health (2025–2027), a program offered by top universities in France, Spain, and Germany.
This Master’s program is a life-changing opportunity for me to gain world-class training in infectious disease control, zoonoses, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR)—issues that are deeply affecting both Kenya and the world at large.
As someone who has worked in animal health research, I’ve seen firsthand the devastating impact of zoonotic diseases and rising AMR in communities. I am committed to being part of the solution. This program will equip me with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to strengthen health systems back home and beyond. However, despite being accepted, I am currently unfunded. I’m seeking your generous support to raise funds for:
• Tuition fees
• Accommodation and living expenses
• Flight ticket to France
• Study materials and other essentials
Every contribution, big or small, brings me closer to achieving this dream and returning home better prepared to serve my community and make a global impact. Please consider supporting my journey to becoming a leader in global health. Your kindness will not only change my life but also help fight the spread of infectious diseases and build stronger, healthier communities.
Thank you so much for reading and for considering a donation.
You can follow my journey and get updates here.
