This fundraising campaign has been launched to help cover the medical expenses of the well-known journalist, Belay Bekele. More than 24 hours have passed since he was found after suddenly collapsing unconscious. According to the information shared with those close to him, Belay is unable to hear, speak, or move. Thankfully, he is still alive and breathing, but the situation remains very serious and urgent.

Belay has served the public through journalism, including in 2020, while visiting from America for vacation, when he worked at ETV reading the news. This fundraiser has been created to help cover Belay’s medical expenses and to support Belay and family through this incredibly difficult time.
