Hello, all you cool cats and kittens!

My name is Bee, and I'm a freelance horror film columnist and critic, as well as a music writer. I have bylines in Bloody Disgusting, Dread Central, Flood Magazine, and The Bluegrass Situation, among many others. Plus, I was just featured for Shudder's 10th Anniversary in their Favorite Frights campaign.

Why am I doing this? Well, 2025 didn't go as planned. Between a family emergency (that required hospitalization) and a slew of health problems (blood pressure, anxiety, no hearing in my right ear), doctor visits, and new medications, I've come to a crossroads. I've been writing and reporting for 14 years, and it appears it's time for a new direction. It's weird because I've never done anything else...

Anyway, I plan to finish out the year and decide what's next over the holidays. This fundraiser is to help for the next two months.
