While we hate asking for assistance in this way, this is becoming one of our last options.

Back in July, Bees was on medical leave from her job due to excessive pain and breathing/heart issues.

It took over a month to get her in to see her doctor to try and write a note to support her taking time off…. To which the doctor refused, as she “wasn’t comfortable” doing so.

During all of this, the pain continued daily, but she was able to see her OBGYN for a yearly physical where we ultimately discovered she has cervical cancer, and will need a hysterectomy at the least.

When she tried to return to work, they would not let her return as the doctor had refused to sign off on her original LOA, effectively costing her job.

Although she has been searching for a new job, she hasn’t landed anything yet, and the bills are piling up.

On top of this, in losing her job, she lost her insurance and is unable to see an oncologist without paying out of pocket.

The financial struggles aren’t getting easier, and she’s unable to get the care she needs, which is the most important part.

We are hoping to raise at least $5,000 to cover her initial oncology appointment and hopefully some of her labs or treatment while she continues job hunting, and help with the immense pain she’s in daily.

We are also looking into other resources to try and get ahead of this before it progresses. Anything helps and is very much appreciated.
