Support Bed-Stuy Art House's New Chapter
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our beloved space at 198 Lewis Avenue. Unfortunately, we were not offered a new lease, and our current location will be repurposed by the landlords.
Our Journey
Over the years, Bed-Stuy Art House has been more than just a venue; it has been a sanctuary for independent artists of all genders, sexual orientations, and identities. We've provided an affordable and nurturing environment where creativity flourishes and artists can showcase their work. Our platform has gained significant traction, with over 7,000 followers on Instagram, and has hosted countless events, exhibitions, and performances that have left an indelible mark on everyone involved.
The Transition
Though this chapter is closing, our journey is far from over. We are committed to continuing our mission by organizing pop-up events and seeking new venues to keep the spirit of Bed-Stuy Art House alive. In the meantime, we need your support to help us through this transition period.
Our Goal
We are launching this GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising $30,000.
This fund will help us:
- Relocate bookings to other spaces until November.
- Secure a new, permanent space for Bed-Stuy Art House.
- Cover moving and setup costs, ensuring a seamless transition for our artists and community.
- Pay our dedicated staff and wrap up essential items during this period.
The Future
With your support, we envision a bright future where Bed-Stuy Art House continues to thrive as a beacon of creativity and inclusivity. Together, we'll navigate this transition and emerge stronger.
Thank you deeply for your unwavering support and belief in our mission. Let's come together to save Bed-Stuy Art House and keep the spirit of creativity alive.
With gratitude,
Shaun
